University of Central Florida President John Hitt and Athletic Director Steve Orsini unveiled five renderings of a proposed on-campus football stadium Wednesday morning.
The drawings of the proposed 45,000-seat stadium by 360 Architecture, of Kansas City, show several views and reflect a construction that uses more reinforced steel and less concrete with an attractive brick facing. Click on the following links for a view of each rendering:
On Thursday, the university’s Board of Trustees is expected to receive a feasibility report on the proposed stadium that it requested at its last meeting in January. Following committee meetings in the morning, the full board will meet at 1 p.m. in the Cape Florida Ballroom of the Student Union.
The board will receive public comments on the stadium and is expected to discuss various aspects of the study. An agenda is available at www.ucf.edu/bot.
